I'm new to peppers, what should I do now? Should I just fertilize and water as needed, should I trim something?

It gets sun for 6-8 hours a day, water as needed, she drinks like a sponge.

It depends on whether you are going to pot up the plant. It’s large enough to be put in a 3, 5 or even 10 gallon container.

Whether the current pot is its forever-place, or you end up transplantimg it, many might disagree, but – I’d remove the early, middle flowers.
You’ll get more growth up top and many more flowers and potential fruits above the “Y” fork, it’s just a matter of how many the root system can end up supporting. That’s why bigger = better in this case.
