Egg drop soup has become my favorite breakfast to cook for myself. Especially because I get to combine two of my favorite onions in one beautiful dish.

Lovely! Hey, if you want to take it to the next level, buy some sansho Szechuan peppercorns. My favorite variety of Szechuan peppercorns and they really make everything extra special. Toast them very, very lightly and then grind them. Very fragrant, citrusy, and electrical. The Spice House sells them online.
