I had to switch meringue powder brands when l couldn't find Genies Dream 🙁 I didn't get the smoothness I usually get and some colors in my set bled. I think they are still okayyyy but not my usual standard. I dont have time to redo them. Should I give my customer a discount? I know her personally and I think she will love them anyway but I just don't feel great about them.
I normally charge $75/dozen (located on the west coast for context). Sharing raw images for transparency.

IMO, no discount. The color that bled from what I can see is the peachy color of the unicorn into the white base. It’s not bad what so ever. Like if the black bled, maybe, but this is barely noticeable!
I wouldn’t discount! We’re our harshest critics. Genies dream said that they should be receiving the last of their materials to start blending by Monday and hoping to have product soon so that’s good news for us!
Nope!
I couldn’t even tell what was wrong until you pointed it out. Even then, hardly at all. They look great.
I would not give a discount. I think they look great and the bleeding of the colors is not obvious at all! IF it is bothering you so much, you could go over the bled area with a white outline to make it look more like a shadow? But I don’t find it necessary…
NO DISCOUNT! They are *adorable*. I would be happy to pay *full price* for your cookies.
I wouldn’t discount, but you could maybe do something extra special for them in a future order to make yourself feel better.
No discount. They’re fabulous, and worth every penny.
HELL NO! They are lovely! After all, it’s a COOKIE!! Not brain surgery!
