The location has been home to a few Mississauga restaurants and bars over the years. Now, another hopes to make the exclusive location its home.
The address is 139 Lakeshore Road East, sitting at the foot of Hurontario Street on the southwest corner, and resting in the heart of the now bustling community of Port Credit.
Until January of this year, the location housed the Port House Social Bar, but has since sat empty.
Now, a restaurant promoting a Mediterranean Fusion of Spanish, Greek, Lebanese and Moroccan food has signalled its intention to open this fall.
Calling itself Kabbana Bar + Grill, operators have been giving sneak previews on social media of what is in store for patrons.
“Where bold Mediterranean tapas meet crafted cocktails in a lush, design-forward setting,” reads one message on Instagram.
Another explains what you will find inside. “Natural textures, golden details, and a menu that tells stories.”
Not much else is known about Kabbana which promises to be, “Port Credit’s most anticipated openeing.”
A website for the restaurant is still under construction but what is a revealed appears to be high-end cuisine presented in a lush and exotic atmosphere.
“Kabbana is more that a resturant — it’s an experience,” is one more message posted on Instragram. “Opening this fall. Stayed tuned.”
