Low carb economical meal. Best prepared with some fresh garden herbs. Good for diabetic people or those on a low carb low glucose diet. No added Sugar, No added Flour, No added starches.
we got some minced pork about 800 gram and we got some corn about 600 G so we got some chilies from my garden rosemary parsley mint and oregano and not from my garden just some white onion taking out some of the seeds helps to reduce the additional spiciness of the chili these are quite spicy chilies and I do like to have the meatballs spicy but I don’t want them so spicy that I can’t taste the other flavors in the meal fresh little chilies like this give nice color chilies herbs all washed already this is my fresh Rosemary I have a big bush in the garden and uh it just keeps growing every year and the rosemary leaves from this bush are quite large but when the new ones come out in the spring then the leaves are a little bit smaller this is my own fresh parsley also chop this nice and fine so the ingredients I’m going to pop up on the screen in the moment we have mixed fresh garden herbs we have dried herbs the provant which I’ll put in in a minute we have chopped chilies we have mint pork we have cracked black pepper and we have salt and white pepper and you can use an egg if you want so we go to assembly so in the bowl we have our corn and our pork and then we’re going to put in our chopped onion and we’ll put in our chilies and our fresh garden herbs [Music] and on top of that we’ll put a spoonful of salt and pepper give another little bit salt and pepper and a little bit of black back pack cracked black pepper now I’m going to Mi mix that in using my hand tell you it’s definitely easier to mix this if you have egg it or something to stick it together like flour so I’m going to put an egg in this see how we get on that’s much better try to fold it on itself so that you’re sure that you’re incorporating all of the ingredients so that is partially shaped now I’m going to show you the next stage okay so this is my method and honestly I don’t know anybody else who makes it in this way so if you take your mix meat mix bring it into the center of your bowl like that you can use your hand you can use a spatula okay then turn it out this is a cling film plastic wrap Saran Wrap whatever you want to call it pop it out like that okay and then you’re going to cover it with another layer of cling fill like that and you’re going to press it down and you’re going to form it into a circle a disc like [Music] so okay very good just like that okay push the sides in in as you can see I’m doing to make the sides nice and neat and tight like so and don’t worry you’re not going to cook it in the plastic wrap try to make it level across the top okay I think that’s exactly what we need take your pan put your pan on it [Music] get a pizza pel under it if you have a pizza pil okay turn it over okay we’re going to shape the sides little bit more like that that’s it very good then you can take a pallet knife and we’re going to divide it into eight it don’t scratch through to the tle on the pan you just need to cut through you’re not actually cutting the paper you’re just pushing through to make an indentation and divide it into eight segments and then when we fry it and we’ll use the same pan to fry it I’ll show you how to remove the plastic wrap later when we fry it we can use our cooking spatula to help us divide it more completely okay so that’s it ready to be cooked you can see there looks just nice so I’m going to cover it gently and I’m going to refrigerate it and I’ll show you the cooking process okay so it’s cooking time so what we’re going to do going to flatten it out we’re going to use our pizza peel again take off the top part of the plastic [Music] okay okay so our pan is warmed and we have a little olive oil in the pan okay it’s just warm it’s not so hot put our pan over and flip it again and onto the gas okay so we’re warming up nicely if you have a nice wooden spatula like this you can use it don’t use steel on a Teflon cated pan in case you don’t know it scratches the Teflon off and that causes your items to not stick to I should say items that you don’t want to stick will stick and apart from that it can put Teflon in your food and you can do your own research on that but I think Teflon is uh not so good good for you okay so they’re separated nicely and we’ll leave it cooking away there in a moment okay so now it’s time to turn so we can turn them all nice and uh cutesy and neat one by one or we can turn it one pan completely turned into another pan so I have another hot pan here beside me and uh okay so we’re starting to sizzle here so what I’m going to do I’m going to transfer from one pan to the other like I say you can use your spatula and you can be very safe and you can turn each one one by one if you can’t get the spatula in between you can use a rubber a smaller rubber spatula like this to turn them over okay [Music] so that’s for me a little bit more convenient than doing them one by one and now that it’s turned over we can divide them up a little bit more easily like that because this pan is bigger and there we go I’ll show it to you when it comes out this is our cutlet with plain pork gravy this is our cutlet with marinara sauce Link in the Des description from Marin Aros sauce
