Hi everyone. This is my first year trying to grow peppers in containers. They always stunted and didn’t produce in my raised bed, so I figured I’d try containers instead. All my non-spicy peppers are doing great! But I’m having problems with the spicy ones. They’re both dropping green leaves, Habanero and Thai Hot, and the tips are shriveling. The Thai Hot’s leaves are curling under first, but same demise. There’s a ton of videos on upward curl, but I can’t find much of anything about downward curl. I found a side mention of downward curl meaning rootbound, but mine are not. It doesn’t feel compacted either. Why else would this be happening? Also not sure on the tops. They had both just started to put out tiny blooms. They seemed to be doing fine until a few days ago, growing a little slower than the non-spicy peppers, but it sounded like that was normal. Now they seem to be dying rapidly. We got a monsoon 2 days ago (this started before that), but it’s been in the 80s since May. Pretty consistent weather. We aren’t being hit by the heat wave. Zone 6a.
