Inexpensive, 3 ingredients (brislings, olive oil, salt), perfectly smoked. Love em

Those are great. I also like Riga Gold for a similar product. I’ll have to do a side by side sometime to see which I prefer.

From what I can get in a rural area, those are my absolute favorite

This and the Riga Gold are identical to me so I stock up whenever I see either on sale.

For the price this is a little treasure!

My favorite! I like shallow frying them until slightly crisp but not burnt. Top them with caramelized onions, fried capers and a splash of lemon.

Agreed. Simple, tasty.

I was so skeptical of this tin, but I’m glad I tried it.

I absolutely love Polar brand, in the western US Grocery Outlet seems to have a deal with them because they sell Polar brand really cheap sometimes. I’m talking tins that sell for $8 at nice grocery stores for like $1-$4 at gross-out. Their smoked brislings in oil taste vaguely of Johnsonville sausages and pair great with some crackers and a beer, I also use them for stir fry and eat them straight out of the can. I want some right now actually.

These are soooooo good! If you are looking for the pinnacle of luxury- on special occasions I like eating these over seasoned rice with salt & rice wine vinegar, and vegetables with a mix of Chinese black vinegar and lee kum kee spicy chili crisp on top. It’s absolutely insane.
Smoky, acidic, spicy, oily and super umami from all the chili crisp and fish! I’m making myself hungry haha

Cracked open this can a few weeks ago for the first time and was very happily surprised! It’s good stuff.

If you’re lucky your Costco will sell them in 9.5 oz jars

I love these and the riga golds. I find the polars to be a bit smokier, but the riga gold jars are melt in your mouth heaven
