When I was living in Spain I hung out with a bunch of Brits and they called this an egg butty. What do you call it? This is a homemade japanese milk bread bun and yes it was damn delicious

    Egg Sandwich.
Unless you’re ordering it from across the counter, then it’s called a McPuke or something like that.

Egg sandwich, although nobody makes them like they do on Long Island.

We don’t have such thing, BUT we have something called “komplet lepinja” that’s like similar to scrambled eggs, mixed with kajmak (just google it please lol 🤣) inside the flat bread and pork/lamb roast juices poured over

egg sandwich. doesn’t matter how the egg is cooked, the bread used, the condiments used, it’s always yummy

  5. Strong_Dads

A one hander or an egg sandwich or a breakfast sandwich

  6. Not related to where I’m from, but who I work with (several ex-forces): egg banjo.

Why? Image holding it in one hand, and discovering it’s dripped down your front. What do you do?

  7. It kind of looks like a toad in a hole, but without the bottom of the hole cut out.

Bánh mì trứng which literally translates to “egg bread” but egg sandwich is more accurate lol

I call it an egg sandwich. But in my family specifically, we call it an Eggo Sammo. Don’t know where that came from.

Egg sandwich. In NYC or Long Island you go to a deli and ask for BECSPK
Bacon, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup.

This isn’t a concept in Finland but I’d call it a munavoileipä I guess.

In Germany it is a “Eierbrötchen or Brötchen mit Ei“ It is usually a firmer bread roll, 1/2 Kaiser Semmel with a sliced hard boiled egg or egg salad or a Leberkassemmel with a fried egg. (Leberkas is a kind of sausage, baked in a loaf pan like a bread of meat. Most of the time it gets cut thick like a finger)

  13. We don’t have such things in Serbia, we have bakeries instead.

Anda(egg) pav(a local bread similar to a dinner roll)

  15. Maniacal-Maniac

Triple fried egg chilli chutney sandwich.

Or just a fried egg sandwich, maybe a ham and egg sandwich on occasion.

  16. Scientistturnedcook

Pão com ovo, which translates to “bread with egg”

  17. Party-Loan7562

I am going to call it horrible until you send me one.

Idgaf what you call this, but lemme get one! Seriously looks 🔥

Toad in the hole is what we called it in South Texas.

  20. An egg sandwich is called an egg sandwich in Australia. But in the photo you don’t have sandwich bread, you have a roll, so that would be an egg roll

We don’t really have egg sandwiches as a concept here. I am from West Virginia and yes, we have egg sandwiches, but I only hear of people eating them from fast food places. I have never really seen or heard people make them themselves.

And as far as I know they are called egg sandwiches, or egg muffins, or egg biscuits.
