INGREDIENTS
1,200g Chicken
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Chicken Seasoning
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Black pepper
Β½ tsp Ginger powder
1 Β½ tsp Curry Powder
1 Β½ tsp turmeric powder
VEGETABLES…
2 Red bell peppers
2 Green bell peppers
2 Yellow bell peppers
4 Sticks Carrots
1 Medium Sized onion
1 Habanero
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Olive oil to cook
Slurry/thickener
2 tbsp Corn Starch
100ml Water

Hi guys, welcome and welcome back again to my channel. Today’s video I’m going to be showing you how to make this simple, delicious, healthy chicken vegetable soup. This is a very simple recipe but super healthy and it’s absolutely delicious. All right, so keep watching. Don’t forget to like this video, subscribe, and please do not forget to share. All right. So to start with, we have our chicken already clean. So I’m using the chicken leg and also the lap. You can use any part of chicken that you prefer. And also you can also remove the skin of the chicken before cooking if that’s what you want. But for me, I’m leaving the skin on. And to my bowl, I’ve transferred in the clean chicken. I added some extra virgin olive oil. I added salt and seasoning powder. That’s chicken seasoning powder. And then I will mix that until it’s well incorporated into the chicken. Next, we are going to add in our onion and garlic powder, black pepper. I’ll go in with curry and turmeric powder. And then mix this. And you want to massage this into the chicken nicely until they are well coated in this spices. And when it comes to, you know, using spices, you can choose any spices that works for you. So skip anyone that you do not want to add to your meal. All right. So cover that and set aside to marinate for like 40 to 60 minutes. And here we have all the vegetables that we are going to be garnishing our soup with. All right. So, first we have the yellow bell pepper, which I’ve already cleaned and diced. I also have my carrot, peeled and diced. We have the red bell pepper, clean and diced. Green bell pepper, clean and diced. And here I have my onions. You can use any onion of your choice. Then peel the onions and dice into your very preferred shape and size. We have our pepper and also some minced garlic and ginger. Now let’s start with the cooking. So to cook this, you want to place your pan on the heat. Into that I’ve added some oil. You can use any oil of your choice. I’m using u olive oil. Then add that. And then you want to place the chicken into the hot oil. Cover this and allow this cook for like 5 minutes or until the first side is nice and golden brown. Just like this. And once that is done, you want to flip this chicken and then allow the other side to cook until they are nice and good and brown. So now we’re going to take this out of the pot and into that same pot, we’re going to transfer in the diced onions. And then I went in with the minced garlic and ginger. Now you want to stir and cook this for like 2 minutes. And you want to make sure these are well sauteed for that 2 minutes. And after 2 minutes, I’m going to go in with water. So all the list of ingredients and the measurements will be in the description box. And once I’ve added the water, you want to add enough water to cook this because this is soup. So you need it to have uh that water in it. So I’ve gone in with my diced habanero pepper. And also I went in with some chicken seasoning. Now we are going to add in our chicken which is already uh precooked chicken. Now cover this and allow it to cook for 10 to 12 minutes. And note that I’m using the soft chicken. This is not a hard chicken. So it won’t take time for the chicken to be done. So this is like 12 minutes later. And now you can see the water have reduced a bit. So we are going to be adding our vegetables. So now the first vegetables I want to add is carrot. After adding the carrots, you want to let that you know simmer for just few seconds and then I’ll go in with the rest of the vegetables. And once I add the rest of the vegetables, I will stir this and then we are going to make a slurry. This is a tickna. And to make this thicker, all you need is just water and corn starch. So mix that nicely and then add it to your soup. This will give it that a little bit of thickness and you don’t just want it to be very very watery. So it will give it a little bit of thickness. So add it and let it simmer. Once you add the slurry, just stir and then allow it to simmer for few seconds or just one minute and that’s it. This is ready. It’s as simple as this and it’s so delicious. You can pair this with some potatoes, have it the way it is. And for me, I’m going to be having this with some white boiled rice. And I tell you, it’s absolutely absolutely delicious, very healthy, and it’s so easy and very, very cheap to put together just within your pocket, and you will love it. All right, guys.
