But obviously at different stages of ripeness. What can I expect taste wise?

    I grow red jalapenos all the time and prefer the red ones over the green ones any day

    Definitely more sweetness on the red, maybe even more heat if picked relatively soon after turning colour. If left on the plant for too long (like seed company – long, we’re talking picking it a bit “squishy”), the heat could actually go down a bit in most peppers

    Reds sweeter, green is sour. I prefer red unless I’m pickling them

    Ok, we tried both and red is the winner. First time growing them and first time trying a red.

    Red is definitely better tasting but has a shorter shelf life. Grocery stores sell them green because they ship better.
