Sa pagluluto, ito naman ang mga dapat gawin;

Hey everyone, welcome for another video and today we’re diving into another delicious recipe that you can whip up right in your kitchen. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or just starting, you’ve come to the right place. Today we are cooking a traditional Filipino food recipe known as tinolang halan or white lamb soup recipe in English. But before we start the video, guys, if you like this recipe and want more like it, don’t forget to subscribe and join the fam. I post new dishes every week, easy, tasty, and made with love. Subscribe and hit the bell so you never miss any delicious upload. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. So, let’s go back to the video. To start our cooking, we will prepare some slices of tomatoes, slices of spring onion stocks, some slices of ginger, and a twisted lemon grass. These initial ingredients will be prepared first. And after that, we set them aside. We will also prepare our white lambs and wash them thoroughly. Then put them in a separate container. And then we move on to the next step. Today we are not going to use our traditional furnace, but instead we will use a makeshift concrete made furnace. This type of cooking platform typically uses charcoal as fuel for the fire because here the firewood will not fit and it will take some time before we can use it. On the platform, we will place a pot and in the pot, we will add some olive oil to be heated. Then add the prepared slices of spring onion stocks and tomatoes. Then later, we add the clams and then sauté for a bit. Then cover the pot and wait till the clams pop up. Let’s wait around 10 to 15 minutes from here. And then we move on to the next step. [Music] [Music] Once the clumps pop up, we can add a little amount of warm water and later we add the twisted lemongrass and the slices of ginger. Then we mix them a bit and we cover the pot. Let it boil for about 15 minutes while we prepare the other ingredients. And now we move on to the next step. [Applause] [Music] again. [Music] [Music] [Music] Now we prepare some malongai leaves. We get the young leaves and stems of the malongai and we place them in a separate container. Of course, for another soup recipe, our malongai will also be included in this cooking which adds flavor and most importantly a very nutritious vegetable. For those who wonder how to plant a malongai in their backyard, here is a simple tip. Grab a long mature branch of a malongai and cut both ends. Then peel the other end of that branch and the peeled part will be buried in the ground. Usually it will take a week and that planted branch will grow some young leaves already. So that’s how easy it is to plant a malongai from your backyard. It is well adaptive to climate either tropical or subtropical regions. It will thrive. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Moving on. As the pot is boiling, we can add more water for more soup. We better add some warm water. And then we cover the pot again. [Music] Later we open the pot again and now we add some salt and aamoto seasoning. This will enhance the taste and flavor of the soup. You can add more if you like as long as it improves the taste of the soup. Just make sure that you also taste frequently the soup to know if you got the right flavor. Then move on to the next step. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Now we washed our malongai leaves and add some cut spring onion leaves. Look again. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] After all the initial steps are done and the flavor of the soup is achieved, now we will add the final ingredient which are the malongai and spring onion leaves. After we add these last components, we can now place immediately the pot out of the fire and let the heat from it to cook the malongai and spring onion leaves. These leaves are quick to cook and it won’t take long. [Music] So there you have it guys. Easy, delicious, and a very healthy dish is now ready to serve. I hope you can check out this video and try this dish in the comfort of your home. And if you do, please tell me in the comments and let me know what you guys think. Thank you everyone and see you on my next video. [Music]
