The ice cream has a buttery tatse. Popcorn pieces taste candied, like a toffee coated popcorn snack food. There is a swirl of something, not caramel and not butterscotch. Possibly toffee. The texture blends well with the ice cream. The popcorn pieces crunched and then immediately started to dissolve. It wasn't unpleasant. There were a moderate amount of pieces which blends well with the sweet buttery cream.
I would get this on my own. This was a group gift and no one wanted it because it "sounds wierd". It tatses very similar to Corn Pops cereal. Eating it makes me feel nostalgic for late summer nights on my bike. I know that is not a good flavor description. If you are able, and enjoy corn as a flavor, I would reccomend tasting this.

Thank you for actually posting photos of the ice cream. I wasn’t interested in this one, but the way you described it makes me want to try it. I love corn pops.
Good find! Where’d you actually find this?
Are they like Cracker Jacks? Thats the impression I got reading the description.
Corn Pops/Frosted Flakes esq./buttered kettle corn. Difficult to explain but I love this one more and more with each spoonful. I would 100% get another pint of this.
I so wish I could try this! Jeni’s uses natural coloring for their ice cream and I’m allergic to pumpkin😭
Didn’t even know this flavor was a thing! I loved Corn Pops growing up
