My so called “Glockenpaprika” in german look roughly the same

Those look like my yellow Jamaican mushroom peppers from a couple years back.

Could be worse. Might’ve been a garden variety bell pepper. I’ve come think that nurseries are as bad as I am at labeling plants. I got a mad hatter that was supposed to be a ghost pepper from a local nursery. I’ve started growing my own and so far only a couple have turned out completely different from the seed label.

I got something very similar that was also sold as a habanero (from seed). Flavor is similar, maybe a bit more fruit vs citrus. I usually use habs to add some spice to my mild habanada sauce but these will suffice.

Did you get “Pepper Joe’d”?….They look like Scotch Bonnet’s to me..

They resemble my chocolate hand grenades.

Probably a mix up, could just be weird genetics. Definitely not a standard habanero. Agree with the comment that said it looks like a Jamaican mushroom pepper.

For once, someone got an upgrade haha! I’d prefer these over Habanero!

Looks like my scotch bonnet plants.

Funnily enough, last year I grew scotch bonnets from seed for the first time and they just looked like some ol habs.

So I think I got pepper Joe’d last year. Now I know what they are supposed to look like and am excited to really try them once they ripen.
