I wouldn’t call it lasagna, and the presentation isn’t great (the other noodles look sloppy and crunchy, but the inside is likely fine), but this is a great dish

I know this is so wrong, and as an Italian my ancestors are crying… but I’d totally try it. I bet it tastes pretty good honestly.

I mean it’s basically a stuffed cannelloni pasta bake. Just change the name and it’s perfect for a post on allrecipes. The name is the only stupid bit cause nothing about this is lasagna.
OKAY well no a few other things are also stupid lmao this recipe in concept is good but the execution is poor. Take a small amount of your beef mix at a time when you’re adding it so it fills the cannelloni. Better yet, if you really want to use heavy cream that bad, take the beef, cream, and cheese, and make a cohesive combination that’s easy to spread over your pasta (a ladle at a time and not all of it at once like a psycho) so that it actually fills the tubes and the flavor is properly dispersed in each bite. THEN layer it with cheese. Hopefully with some nice ricotta or goat cheese or burrata at least if the idea is to mimic lasagna. Not sure why you’re getting downvoted though, this fits the bill for me, seems pretty StupidFood.

Italy is a big country, of course there’s a madman who will teach you how to make lasagna like this.
I sometimes troll my foreign friends a little if they ask how to make a Danish dish.

Those are manicotti, not lasagne, but still it’s made all wrong. They look dry as hell. You need to bake them with a lot of liquid, or par-boil them and then bake them with only sauce and cheese.

Looks like a Greek pastitsio

’tis is a fine dish, but sure it is no lasagna, English.
