I’m planning on building a table for my Classic II using the dimensions available here:

The one thing I’m unsure of is where I should be aiming for in terms of height. Does anyone have any suggestions re the ideal height of the gasket from the ground? For reference, I’m just over six foot.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

I would want somewhere around waist height for you, so that you aren’t stretching to reach the other side.
Not sure there is an ideal. Visit your local bbq i shops with a tape measure. Consider also the space you need for trays and stuff alongside the grill and how far you want lean over if the grill is set back from the front. There are plenty of sample tables and how to videos for differnet styles of grills. Suggest you build a cardboard mock up before you commit.
