we’re going to make a delicious flavorful cucumber yogurt sauce that can go as a condiment with just about any meal You’re going to start off by cutting your cucumber Just cut it into a big piece like that Then cut this in half Now we’re going to use a mini mandolin to slice it into a bowl I’m going to sprinkle some salt onto it to pull out the water We’re going to start to work on the yogurt part of the sauce So let’s put some yogurt about a cup into a bowl No need to measure Just a handful of ingredients We’re going to add a little bit of salt to that And then about half a teaspoon of garlic powder About a tablespoon and a half of diced red onions I’m laughing because the last time I said about a table and a half and it goes I’m putting a teaspoon of zatar If you’ve never tasted it it’s got a really citrusy sort of flavor to it and it’s absolutely delicious So I’m putting a teaspoon but if you like the flavor you can always add more You can’t take away right and the last ingredient before the cucumbers is a little bit of lemon zest I like pulling it across the lemon and then dumping it right in Before I add this in I’m going to rinse and drain this Give it a good squeeze Get as much water out as you possibly can and add it to the yogurt Okay now it’s time to give it a good stir It’s a little bit difficult because you have different types of pieces in there big chunky pieces and you have all that zitar So make sure you mix it really well Before you put this on the table give it a taste That is absolutely delicious You can leave this in the fridge for 2 to three days For lots of fun and interesting recipes hit that follow button
