🌮 CRISPY CHICKEN TACOS RECIPE!!! 🔥🔥
Crunchy, juicy, flavor-packed tacos that’ll steal the show every time. Perfect for Taco Tuesday—or ANY day you crave bold bites!

🍗 Ingredients:
For the Crispy Chicken:

2 boneless chicken breasts (cut into strips)

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp chili powder

Salt & pepper to taste

Oil for frying

For Assembly:

6 small corn or flour tortillas

Shredded lettuce or cabbage

Sliced avocado or guacamole

Pico de gallo or diced tomatoes

Sour cream or crema

Shredded cheese (cheddar or cotija)

Lime wedges for serving

🔥 Instructions:
Marinate the chicken: Soak chicken strips in buttermilk for 30 minutes (or overnight for extra flavor).

Dredge and coat: In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and spices. Remove chicken from buttermilk, let excess drip off, and coat thoroughly in the dry mix.

Fry to crispy perfection: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches for 5–6 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Warm the tortillas: Toast or lightly fry the tortillas for that perfect soft-yet-crispy edge.

Assemble your tacos: Add lettuce, crispy chicken, avocado, pico, crema, cheese, and a squeeze of lime.

💥 Optional Add-Ons:
Pickled red onions

Jalapeño slices

Hot sauce drizzle

Chipotle mayo

These are my favorite tacos right now. They are my crispy chicken tacos topped with hot honey. The textures, the flavors, they are insane. Let me show you how to make it. Start by cracking two eggs into a bowl. Whisk well and season with salt and pepper. And now time to season the panco bread crumbs. I’m using salt, chili and lime seasoning, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, and then cut your chicken breast in half lengthwise and dip it into the egg mixture. And then straight into the crumb mixture. Make sure you’re covering the chicken well and pressing those crumbs in. And then I’m just shallow frying these. You can deep fry these if you want, but just cook them until they’re golden brown and cooked on the inside. This chicken on its own is so delicious, but we are putting them into tacos. I made a quick little salsa with some red peppers, coriander, red onion, spring onion, lemon, and some salt. Warm up some tortillas. Add the chicken, the salsa on top, some homemade guac, and then I added some jalapenos on top. Serving this with a little bit of lime. And last but not least, the hot honey. You can use any brand of hot honey. I’m using the JD’s hot honey. And this is so good. I literally put this on everything. It’s kind of an addiction at this point. These tacos are to die for. Please, please try them.
