    Okay, I’m sure these were just fine, but this is Reddit and we demand perfection if it isn’t a request for advice… just so you are warned about what is to come.

    Some are looking burned, some are looking steamed.

    I can’t be certain, but I would say a few things will improve your game:

    1) make sure steaks are dry when they go on the grill.

    2) that bed of coals is too small to do 4 steaks at once. You need a place for high heat to get that sear and color, and you need a place to take them off the heat if needed so they don’t burn. Probably just do two at a time on a 24” kettle.
