These chocolate chip tahini cookies are have a chewy, nutty texture and plenty of melty chocolate for the most craveable cookie.
Let’s make these ultra cravable chocolate chip tahini cookies. Start by browning some butter on the stove top to get a nice nutty flavor. While that cools, whisk together your flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a second bowl, whisk together your wet ingredients like brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla, runny tahini. Get all of it in there, and our now cooled brown butter. Make sure you get all the bits at the bottom better than I did. Whisk together all of your wet ingredients until you have a smooth consistency. [Music] Add in your dry ingredients and stir to combine. When most of your flour is stirred in, add your chocolate chips so you can do the final couple stirs together. I use the chopped chocolate so you get those beautiful pools of chocolate on top of the cookies. Scoop into eight seriously goodiz portions. It’s about two cookie scoops worth. Roll each portion into a smooth ball just a little taller than it is wide so you end up with a nice lofty cookie as it bakes. If all of your chocolate ends up in the middle as you’re shaping, you can break the ball apart and expose the chocolate so you get that perfect photo finish at the end. You can also add some chunks of leftover chopped chocolate on top to really give a beautiful finish. Bake until just set. And if you want a perfectly round cookie, shape with a cookie cutter when they’re still piping hot. Sprinkle on some flaky sea salt. And there you have our chewy, gooey chocolate chip tahini cookies.
