I’ve had countless fast food burgers from every chain. Sure some are better than others but I’ve rarely if ever been disappointed.
However, if it’s an option (and I’m well aware you needed a quick bite so it probably wasn’t), you could make that burger in like five minutes for a fraction of the cost. Sorry for being preachy.
Now fries on the other hand are a pain in the ass and McD’s are about the best.

They used to have this promotion back in like 2013 where if it was your first purchase on the app you could get any sandwich you wanted for free. No email verifications so I just kept making accounts. Buy a mcchicken for a dollar, get a free double quarter pounder and then make a giant McGangbang. FOR. A. DOLLAR. 😩

Back in the day I had a friend who was a cook at a mcD and he would always add extra McNuggets, upgrade fry size, and use quarter pounder patties to our orders!

The one by my house no lie consistently fires off impeccable QPCs. It’s the only thing I’ll get there, but whoever they have slapping those together on the weekday lunch shift takes actual pride in their work. The front of house lady is always super sweet too.
Maybe something about that particular franchisee.

It depends on the McDonald’s restaurant some places clearly have their patties frozen for so long they taste bland, I definitely prefer restaurants that make fresh patties daily

No matter how good the world of burgers gets, McD’s will always reign supreme in my mind. Nothing hits like a fresh Big Mac or a quarter pounder with cheese. A kicker of a single cheese burger to start is the best!

As someone that worked at a “high end” franchised McDonalds, if they follow all the protocols that are given, McDonalds fucking slaps. If you think it’s just you getting older you’re actually wrong, it was objectively better when we were younger because they were MUCH stricter on all the processes in the kitchen.
