CINCINNATI (WXIX) – It’s a “new chapter for local Italian cuisine” in Cincinnati, Nick Cicchinelli says, as a new trattoria opens its doors this month.

Cicchinelli is the general manager of Trecento, a new Italian restaurant that promises to bring customers an upscale dining experience.

The owners say the trattoria is the first to have a wood-fired pizza oven in downtown Cincinnati, and features an authentic Italian menu.

If you’re a lover of pizza, pasta and cocktails, then you’ll be sure to find new romance at Trecento, located at 300 Main St.

Trecento was inspired by the owners’ family hometown of Bologna, which is a city known for its culinary expertise and hospitality. They say the restaurant is a tribute and an evolution of their culture.
