Look for Pomi chopped tomatoes. They are in most groceries I go to. They are an Italian company and the tomatoes are close to the Roma tomatoes every salsa recipe asks for. They make the best red gravy as a bonus.

Whole peeled tomatoes, not crushed would be the best option I think. Try them all. Pick your best. It’s R&D. You’ve got to think on reliability too. It’s cheap.
