Hey y’all, it’s Tracy and I’m in the kitchen today fixing Kelby some chicken noodle soup. Come on in. How are y’all doing? Let’s get started and let me tell you where I am right now. Of course, I started before I came live. I’m eating a little watermelon because um I wanted to get ready to put it together. So, I have celery in here. I have onions. I have um chicken buan water, chicken broth, butter, um allpurpose seasoning, a little onion powder, a little garlic powder, and um I’m about to start boiling the medium egg noodles. All right. All right. I just what whoever’s I buy these is just medium egg noodles. So that’s what I’m using. So come on in. Come on in. Thought I’d just have the camera on the food. Sometimes you just put the camera on the food. Well y’all, I just got to thank y’all. I’ve been in the streets. I had to go to my job. I had to um do a lot of ripping and running. I’mma turn around and tell y’all. Hey. Hey y’all. I I’m um I had to go handle some business today. So, I’m a little tired. You know how that go. Cuz I had to go to my job. I had to go pick up my paycheck. I had to go to the bank. I had to run to the store. My baby is sick when she come from her trip. I gotta get her something to eat. Avery something to eat. Handling some stuff for son for his upand cominging procedure. So, I’m just been a mother. So, I had to put on some clothes. I got one of them long um tie-dye skirts. Huh? Do you have something? Um eat what? Like a little not like something up to me, like a little snack. I did. I thought I bought you a snack on the door. Open it up. Open it up. Look where the egg is. Look up high. Chocolate. Yes. Thank you, Mommy. Right. Look, that’s my sister right here. Go ahead. Love you. Love you, too. So, let’s make this soup. How y’all doing? Yeah, it go. Y’all know I match everything. Look, this my skirt that go with my necklace that go with my shirt to go with my earring. I like to match. That’s one thing y’all got to know. I like the dress and it don’t cost nobody no money but me. So, y’all ready to go on and finish this up? So, I’m making her some soup cuz when she went to Washington DC, she got sick from the climate change. Also, I want to thank Chef Carmen supporters. Oh my god. All I did was mention MJ Strong and she talked about MJ Strong on her live and her supporters came through like a flood. They just donated and left on out. They know how to be givers and they understand the cause. So, they blessed in abundance and they still coming. Um, and I thank her page. Um, I know they’re strong right there and I appreciate that support. Also, um, MJ Strong Mom is going to be on CJ Catering’s page, up and coming page. So, let’s get started so we can um, do this. Okay. Let me turn the camera around. All right. All right. All right. I’m trying to fix it where you can be h in there. So, basically what I’m going to add now is um I’m getting ready to add the noodles. That’s it. cuz you got to have the noodles going in the broth. So, I’m using this is a big thing cuz son said he wanted some too. So, this is 12 oz of noodles. I don’t care if son sick or not. He like his mama cooking. Okay. And these are medium um egg noodles. We’re going to put them in there. Don’t use the whole bag. You know me. I don’t I ain’t gonna sit up here and stay in no kitchen just for y’all to watch me. I got to get in and get out. I’m using um thighs, boneless, skinless short thighs. Okay, I’ve got celery in here, my onions. I got a combination of seasonings that I use. One being, you know, of course, I got my parsley flakes and a little chibives in there. I’m also going to use a can of cream of chicken and cream of celery. I’m using peas and carrots and one can of vegetables. Mhm. I got bullion chicken buon chicken broth. You just build your flavor. I’m not eating this watermelon that ain’t in full season yet. Oh yeah, Chef Carmen people don’t play now. They give. They ain’t stingy. They give all the time. And when she say give, they do it. I appreciated it. And we’re going to have the drawing on Saturday for the sweet sweet creation by Melinda G. Um and um Dedra Rose, her page is D Basket Cafe. They’re also going to be a part of it. And on March the 1st, we’re going to do a big event in Atlanta, Georgia. and everything is going to this baby and to bring awareness to black people to go and get that plasma check if you’re at the ages of 18 to 44. You can email the number she gave last night. I think it was and it’s on MJ Strong’s page. You do MJ then it’s a number that starts with a six and all that. and they’ll send you a kit out. Okay? They’ll send you a kit out and you swab your mouth and you send it back and he has a rare form of leukemia going on. Y’all doing all right? And if ain’t nobody told y’all today, if you ain’t heard that out of nobody else’s mouth, I love you. Yes, I do. I do. And ain’t a thing you can do about it. Some of y’all say a friend. You just got after you build your flavors and this chicken get done, you can put in any kind of way you want to. I’m going to add some more noodles, I think, cuz my son is greedy. This is my prayer Lord that I pray and [Music] vac. Yeah, she going to be all right. But you know how kids are. You can tell them one thing. You can tell them the sky is blue. This this generation know everything. She going to be fine. She did have to go to urgent care. She got some type of virus. That’s why I don’t like to be in them streets. Everybody just want to think everything all good and dandy. Well, you can think somebody done made up. You done shook their hand and say we cool now. We going to squash our beef. And they still out to get you. That’s how I feel about that virus. It’s still out to get us, honey. Uh-uh. Everything ain’t good in them streets. Uh-uh. What you say? That what I said. Fred is dead. That what I see. So, um, we’re going to add some cream of celery and cream of chicken. Now, some people say, “Oh, we good. We good.” Yeah. Some people really mean it. You thinking, “Oh, we straight.” And that person is in the background saying, “Oh, we ain’t good.” But guess when I get them off to they self. Y’all don’t ever watch uh Snapped and I almost got away and Fatal Attraction. You thinking things good and it don’t be good. Now this going to be some good soup. I can tell you that how I feel with that thing. Ain’t nobody wearing a mask. Ain’t nobody Everybody feel a summer time and they toes is out cuz mine is out, you know. Everybody ready to go in them streets. Not the church streets though. Ain’t nobody trying to go there but on vacations and some people ain’t never stopped. And you say we good. We good. Now it’s got some type of new virus some virus that’s real strong. So ain’t good. You ain’t good good. You might be good but not good good. Let me check my broth. See if I need any more. Cuz I’ve been cooking it for a minute. My lord and I good. Thank you for the stars, Laura Colin. It’s going to be real good. Let me get you up on there. Let get you in the baller for a minute. So, basically, I took thighs, boneless skinnness. Thank y’all for praying for Kale. Kale, she going to be fine. What did I add to the broth? Okay, I’m going to say it again. Um I use um these are uh boneless skinless side and then I cook them in water chicken broth. I use chicken bullion, some pepper, some salt and some seasoning. Some um parsley flakes and allpurpose that I use and onion powder and garlic powder. I just kept building flavor and a stick of butter. And then I um it tastes so good. Like you can drink it like that. Then I just added some egg noodles. The medium egg noodles. You can use whatever size you want. Yep. It’s the reason why the spoon is in there. I keep cuz I got it sitting there. I ain’t going to take it out. It’s got a rubber base and a wooden handle. As soon as I take it off, I’m going to dirty up my stove. Just focus on the food. Focus on the food, please. Okay. Thank you very much. I just can’t be doing much. I cook like I’m cooking. I just turned my camera on. So, I’m just cooking. That’s all. Now I’m gonna um add some cream of celery. I’m just letting y’all watch me do what I cook in my kitchen. This is cream of celery. And if you can’t afford um Campbell, you just buying the name. Get you your off brandand. Get whatever you can afford. Let me get my whisk. Now, I won’t leave a whisk in there cuz it’s made out of stainless steel. I’m going start adding my other things in there. Then that was cream of celery. Okay. Now I’m going to add cream of chicken. Oh no. I eat this. I’m going to eat this with a grilled cheese sandwich. You ain’t got these. My kids like it. You don’t have to be sick. When we were growing up, we ate it. If mama had some, we asked for it. We can’t wait to get some. This is cream of chicken. And this is a large can of it. And son, he’ll tell me in a minute. You going to make some soup, mama? And I’ll tell him I’m working on it. Okay. Now, what I do is this is um sometimes I do it just like when we’re sick for real, I just use the broth. I don’t add a lot. I leave I got a video of one where I made but this is going to be creamy. And um I still have the thighs whole, but as it cools down, I’m gonna probably just cut them up. But I still got them whole just for right now. Just for right now. Yeah. I’m going to make me um a bowl of this and I’m going to make me a grilled cheese sandwich with my harvi and I’m going to eat it like that. Uh-huh. Cornbread. Y’all right. Hey, Tamacqua Paris. Did I get it right? How my MJ doing today? These are boneless, skinless thighs. You better say it, son. There go my son Marvin music on him. He said somebody ought to tell God thank you. All right. Uh Tashan Jackson, no more Jiffy cornbread. Sprinkle me, baby. Sprinkle me. Yes. Havari cheese is good. I use it. I use it in my in my um macaroni and cheese, too. Okay, I’m going to turn around and talk to y’all for just a minute. Okay, I’m back. Son says somebody ought to tell God thank you cuz son love this soup. Okay. And he ain’t sick. And and and it don’t matter who get it. If if it’s in here, he going to eat it. He going to come by after work and he going to pick it up. That’s going to be the end of it. So now the noodles are done. You don’t want to overcook your noodles, okay? Cuz remember, they’re going to still be in heat. So basically, it’s good to go. You can add your more pepper if you want it. You can eat it with crackers. You can eat it with cornbread. You can eat it with some peanut butter crackers. You can eat it with a cheese sandwich. The soup is ready. It’s just going to end up simmering down cuz you don’t want your noodles soggy. And that’s how I do my homemade chicken noodle soup. Tell MJ thank you. Tell them I’m matching from head to toe. Tell them I got on my my skirt. It match my necklace and my earrings. Tell them I had to go to town today. So, I always, you know, dress up because that’s my thing. I just like to wear nice clothes. Tell MJ I love him and tell him ain’t nobody stopping our shine. Won’t he do it? He said he would fight our battles. They wonder how you sleep at night. Won’t he do it? He said he would. So, I trust him at all times. Yes, y’all. I’m in love with MJ Strong. Son, don’t be jealous. So I talked to Bootsy Bad people and so we set for Atlanta, Georgia on May the 1st to do a big awareness. They’re going to have vendors. Chef Carmen going to come through with the food trucks. I’ll be there. We’re raising money. Chef Karma people came through and donated. Tomorrow night CJ Catering page is going to have her on there. I’m going to see if Carmen has talked to Latrice about having her come on her page. Um I know a lot of cook influencers are seeing it. So I don’t know everybody and not even just cook influencers cuz some are not cooks. if they want to be a part of it, they can reach me cuz I don’t know everybody. But I know that this little boy was living a normal life and last year he started getting tired. And this is a rare cancer. It’s a rare leukemia found in black and African-American men. And the chance of survival is 23% because the black people will not go and do the test and check and see if they are donors. Let me show this. If they are a match to somebody’s child, and I can only tell you it hurt you when your child’s sick. You see what I’m doing right now? cuz Kelbit went and parted all weekend up in um her and son went to um Washington DC and they was in them cold streets and she done got sick so I had to come and make her some chicken popey. Okay, I posted Hey Virginia, that’s my cousin Virginia um Mars. Y’all tell my cousin hello please. I’m gonna um pin it myself. My admin might be on busy right now. Sometimes I let them know when I’m going live and sometime I don’t do right. Okay, I pin it. It’s Mama Mas comfort cooking. I’m going to dip some out for y’all. And uh like I say, you can leave these. My kids don’t care if I leave that chicken or if I chop it up. It don’t really matter. I’m going to chop up some of them, but they just um individual thighs. I’ll go ahead and do some Oh, I’m sorry. Tracy Coleman. Yeah, that’s right. A lot of black men, you know, black people mostly are known for getting Thank y’all for telling her hello. Her name is Virginia. Um, most uh most people are, and my cousin been through a lot, y’all. She lost her oldest son, Corey, this past year. So y’all just don’t know what people go through. I know what she was going through cuz I was praying for her. But one thing about where we from, we remain quiet. We handle things the way the family handled it. And if it’s going to be private, it’s going to stay private. But us, I didn’t say too much. I mentioned it a couple of times, but I didn’t go in no detail cuz first of all, I was waiting on them to say something. And Cy was a good boy. I remember him growing up. I’m I’m I’m maybe maybe nine or 10 years older than him. Maybe that cuz I’m 53. Yep. I ain’t got up there. So, I’m just cutting up the meat now. You don’t never know what people going to. That’s why it’s not good to constantly just badger people. You going to mess around on these pages and pick at somebody and they going to be done committed suicide and somebody going to be in a world of trouble. Don’t be pass the law for these social media platforms for doing that. Hiring people to pick at people. And if you are going to be a blessing, you can send it to dollar sign mama’s comfort cooking. Dollar sign mas comfort cooking. Also on Saturday for you all that got to have something in return cuz you know you can tell the truth and get mad and shame the devil. We are going to be doing some some food. It’s your karma say I don’t have to do nothing. I just have to ask my people. I told I ain’t got there yet. I ain’t got there yet. But we going to get there. We going to get there. But right now I got to do heaven pound cakes and desserts. We’ll get there. We are going to make it. Let me get a bowl so I can show y’all this. But cancer is cancer and cancer is not a good feeling to see your loved one suffer. It’s just not. But when they a baby, it’s something about when they kids for me. And I’m not saying it don’t mean you don’t miss your loved ones. I’m saying that. But it is something different when it’s children. You feel like their whole life is before them. You just hate to see it. taken away. That’s what we working on. Awareness. Okay, I’m going to show it to you. And I would have like you can have some crackers around your bowl. I got some shanks in the oven. What you shanking about? I got some shanks in the oven. Hold on. I’m getting a spill over. Hold on. I’mma show it to you. Let me get me a spoon. Honey, he might let me have another bowl, but y’all don’t know who y’all dealing with. He’s a greedy monster. Okay, there it is. So, this is my homemade chicken noodle soup. Honey, you don’t have to. If you like it, learn how to make it. So, MJ has a rare leukemia found only in African-American men. And in order for you to order a a kit, you have to be from the ages of 18 to 44 to get tested. Once you text to that number, MJ and whatever the number is, then they will text you back and send you out a kit. The kit, you just take it and swave your mouth. So, I think I’m just tired because I had muscle spasms. Do any of y’all ever have muscle spasms? I have This condition causes me to have them a lot.
