    Smash. Cheese steaks are grilled meat, steamed bun, pasteurized cheese. (Lots of grilled onions , pickled sweet peppers, and a roughly 50/50 ratio of meat to mushrooms is my favorite toppings). Never had coopers sharp but I’ve heard it’s the way to go. I usually use white American.

    I’ve found the best method with a frying pan is to cook your ingredients, arrange into the same rough shape as whatever bun your using, place the roll onto the heat so it can steam gently, then when your ready just pop a dinner plate on top and then turn the whole thing upside down.
