This is my first ever attempt at growing a super hot. This is the “Armageddon” pepper commonly found at Home Depot’s. Compared to my jalapeño and bell pepper plant you can see she’s a monster. What caused this pepper to do so much better?

Superhots are part of the chinense species whereas jalapeños and bell peppers are part of the annuum species. Typically, chinense peppers grow very big and wide compared to those of the annuum species. Also, this specific pepper could fare better in your climate compared to jalapeños and bells. And other things such as light, soil, and fertilizer can give you bigger plants. But mainly it’s the difference in species. Hope this helps.
Superhots and fabric pots 💚
Genetics, overall plant health, good setup, good soil, right temps, proper watering, light.
You’re gonna burn, though. Armageddon peppers don’t play. Before you try, eat something first, and use something like milk to coat your stomach. You might regret the experience, but you’ll regret it a whole lot more on an empty stomach.
I’m running the exact same plants in the exact same pots. They are indeed monsters. Flowers everywhere too.
I thought this post was about that red, white, and blue pepper, at first.
That cannoli looks spicy
