If you’ve been craving pizza from Otto’s Pizza in Auburn, you’re going to have to go somewhere else. Why? On the second of July, the doors closed at730 Center Street in Auburn, quietly, and all the employees were let go, according to the Sun Journal. 

Then as per the article, on July 11th, Otto himself sent an email confirming that both Auburn and Gorham spots are now closed, following the unexpected death of owner, Greg Ingao. He passed away on March 29th. 

This news hit the community pretty hard because Otto’s became a favorite pretty quickly in the Auburn food scene. It’s unclear for now what the future holds while the company is paused.

Otto’s in Auburn Closes Suddenly, Leaving Fans Wondering What’s Next

Saying, according to the Sun Journal, they are going to “take time to regroup and determine the best path forward.”

That means they do not have a reopening date as of yet, but what they do have is a lot of questions from fans.  

Otto’s is known for it’s very creative toppings and casual vibe.

They have 28 locations across the state of Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

It was a sad day to see those doors close. So many of us like to grab dinner before heading over to Flagship Cinemas for a movie.

Keep an eye out on their website for updates and this could be a good excuse to check out other local pizza joins in Auburn and Gorham to support.

Fingers crossed Otto’s is back to tossing lies before we know it.
