Guilbert Gillet Savigny lès Beaune 1er Cru Les Peuillets Blanc 2022
White floral, lemon peel, and slight sweet buttery toast. It’s tense and mineral-driven. Opens up after an hour in decanter. Having tried the 22 reds from the same plot recently, Gillet makes great rouge and blancs. If im not wrong, 2 barrels of whites were made.

Koji Jae-Hwa Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle 2022
Violet, black fruits, herbs, and warm spice. Juicy and crunchy black berries. Different style as compared to Gillet, whole cluster is evident here. Right up my alley 😮‍💨. Unfortunately, hard to come by with only 304 made in 2022.
