  5. Great idea, I’d toss em in a water/oil solution to keep the edges from burning.

    But some folks like them a bit singed

    I’m not sure I entirely understand the point of doing it that way?

    Wouldn’t it be better to caramelize some onions separately and pour it on top?

    Tbh, thats not nearly enough onion. I prefer them slathered with carmelized onions and a bit o’ mustard. But glad you dig it!
