Chicken was off the chain! Bartender was super sweet, let me camp out near the bar w a drink until someone left. Also made me a list of some of his must tries!

Bavettes, gilt, armitage alehouse, cicio mio, and ~~cafe babareba~~ are of a restaurant group called hogsalt. Known for their quality. They’re often hard to get a reservation with so walk ins as the best way to get yourself seated. Go early.

Gibsons Italia has amazing views of the Chicago river and fantastic service. I’ve been 4 times(?) which is a lot considering all the fantastic restaurants we have.
