Not enough airflow out the top for how hard the fan is running. Either lower the max speed of the fan, or open the top up more. All that air the fan is blowing in has to go somewhere, if not enough volume of air can flow out of the top, it will come back out the bottom.

Is your top vent open?

Lots of interweb vids about this. You more or less only crack your top about 1/8 to 1/4 open then use your automation to drive the fan speed. The fan will control the temp. If you open the top to much, the temps will soar past your desired cooking temp

Drop that fan to about 30 percent max speed.

Make sure airflow is unobstructed. Open the top vent. Clean out the ash. Make sure the coals are stacked towards the back so some holes on the grate are exposed.
