Spinach artichoke monster

I had the spinach artichoke pizza in New York City one time and decided I was going to make it. Result was this monstrosity that I tried to first bake on a grill?! for smoky flavor but had to finish in the oven. I don’t remember what those blobs of cheese are. The texture was more of a dip than sauce 💀

I am here to confess and ready for the verdict because having to eat it was not redemptive enough.
