Males and females in the wrong place at the wrong time, it seems the garden has been “coldplayed.”

Same but when I finally do get a female it wilts and dies before I can pollinate it 🙃

Veggies love flowers. I would try and pop a few summer perennials that are flowering in and around your garden.

You need more phosphorus to set female flowers in squash!

That’s rough, just give it some time and hopefully it will get better. Give it some extra nutrients and maybe it’ll feel secure enough to commit to female flowers.
Also, D&D doesn’t have tournaments and it’s seen a huge increase in female players, which is good! The joke still works if you make it about Magic the Gathering or Warhammer 40K, though.

Ask yourself: “Where did the seeds come from?”

Hey! I resemble that statement!

I mean I can’t even get a zucchini, cucumber or squash plant to grow past 5 inches. Vine borers always take the plants out no matter what I try.

That’s because plants will usually start with male flowers and then start opening female flowers. As with all aspects of gardening, just be patient.
Also, my DnD group is 4 women, 1 man, and 1 non-binary person, so I’ll be curious to see how my flower distribution works out this year if the analogy holds.

Sprinkle some pumpkin spice around the plant and place some yoga paint on that fence. They will come around.

Unlike a D&D tournament, the female (flowers) will show up soon.

I must have 30 males to one or two females flowers. It’s crazy.
