My counters overfloweth with these Cherokee Purple beauties and for the past 3 weeks I’ve survived on toasted sourdough tomato and mayo sandwiches. I’m fully prepared to turn into a tomato at this point because they’re what makes the unbearable summer humidity worth it. Yes, I put entirely too much mayo on my sandwiches but it’s Duke’s, how can you not?!!?

    I’d use Hellman’s because that’s what my grandmother and mom used, but I can’t wait to have a tomato sandwich from my own tomatoes!

    You have set yourself up for extreme tomato success. I just had a CP BLT with Dukes…and you are making me hungry again!!! Unlike the prevailing opinions here…that is the perfect amount of Dukes! BTW – what is that green utensil in the background?
