Keep that baby protected and watered evenly so you can keep as many of those as possible! I had a habanero last year that I repotted a little late so I was worried about it but it exploded in growth and I ended up with like hundreds of big, gorgeous peppers, gave so many away and still had so much lol

Yeah, my habaneros drop more flowers than it gives peppers. So difficult to pollinate.

Just harvested my first flush of orange habs. Didn’t think I was signing up for multiple rounds of 30-40 habs when I bought a $6 plant at Lowes, but here we are. I did not trim my first flush and they took forever to ripen since there were a ton of fruit on a smaller plant. People here probably know more, but I’d trim a bunch of those off

My regular habanero plant has 5x the peppers of my other plants. It’s going OFF. Which is a tad unfortunate bc I can only take sooo many habaneros yk. I love the flavor but the spice is insanely fiery to me. So a big ole batch of salsa gets ONE habanero. What am I gonna do with all of them? 😂
