    1/2 tsp ground cloves.
    3/4 tsp ground coriander.
    1/2 tsp cumin.
    1/2 tsp Mexican oregano.

Add 2 tbsp avocado oil to medium pot. Add garlic and slightly brown. Add all spices except sugar, salt and msg. Add peanuts and cashews. Roast until fragrant. In a separate pot bring water to boil. Once nuts and herbs are fragrant add chiles and continue stirring for a few minutes. Careful to not burn garlic or chiles. Remove from heat and pour the boiling water in the pot. Let Chiles soak in hot water until soft, ~ 20 minutes. When Chiles are soft, drain the water through a mesh strainer and then add contents to a blender. Add vinegar, salt, msg and 1 1/2 cups of water with mixture in blender. Blend until smooth. taste and make adjustments if needed.

  2. I tried making peanut salsa the other day and it didn’t taste right so I just kept adding stuff and ended up with a really awesome mole 😂

  3. There’s a brand of fresh peanut salsa our local grocery carries that’s amazing! Sounds similar to yours

This sounds and looks amazing. We make peanut tofu tacos pretty often, but its more of a Thai style peanut sauce. Now I wanna try making them with this.

  5. You might’ve been peruvian in a past life, you created Occopa, more or less. Your version sounds delicious. Post saved.

    Questions:

    (1) do you use the whole chiles or clean out the seeds?

    (2) when adding water at the end, do you use fresh water or the chile soaking water?

    Sounds really good.
