Took a flyer on Dama Grill off of Venice Blvd. in Palms/Culver City area as I was driving by. ( I know I'm such a risk taker and a rebel not going to a place reviewed 1k times and been mentioned all over social media and reddit lol.)
Was pleasantly surprised by their $16.99 combo plate of 2 small 6" chicken shawarma wraps and with fries.
Their chicken shawarma wraps have a sweet pomegranate sauce with small slivers of pickles inside. Definitely unique tasting. The wrap itself is on the sweeter side and soaks up all the juices and sauce and gets almost pancake like. Their wrap do not contain that much meat so be warned.
I loved their fries, which are extra crispy and tossed in some seasonings. One of the better fries I've had in awhile. Disclaimer: My fry knowledge game is weak so I could be very wrong on their fries.
The downside to this place is that everything is made to order and the wait time for a wrap is around 20-25 minutes, even when it's not too busy. Order ahead of time or order and walk around the area for 20-25 minutes.
