New York steak tacos with Kirkland CdP. A match made in heaven!

The fruitiness and body of the wine works great with steak and salsa, not too shy or overpowering.

Notes:
Ripe red fruits, strawberry and cherry, hints of vanilla, little spice and minerality. Nice balance of fruit and acidity with a pleasant medium finish, soft tannins.

  1. At first I thought it was gyros where sometimes they add fries. I guess tacos could work too since a fruity CdR has been known to work.

I’m normally a fan of CdP, and tend to appreciate Kirkland wines, but I thought that one was way too thin with overly vegetal/bell pepper notes. Maybe I need to revisit it.

  3. Dude…🤌🤌🤌🔥🔥🔥 lime crema on the tacos!!

  4. If you’re happy I’m happy 😁 I do wanna try that wine tho

I had a breakfast taco with crunchy shoestring fries on it this morning, and I gotta tell ya, you should try it
