So the very first peppers (Buena mulata) I've ever grown are coming up split in half. Is this fasciation? The peppers that came next look normal like in the last picture.

I’m growing this as well. My first one was weird too. I cut it off, because I didn’t like how it looked. Hit it with a little fertilizer in a week I had so many blooms forming and everything else afterwards looked well 😝
