Hiii, struggling on where to use my deflector plates would they sit on the black lines which is basically on the charcoal basket or the blue line so they are sitting on the rim that holds the firebox together?

Black lines, though it’s fiddly to get them to sit on the four platform points, but that’s where they are supposed to go. They are too small to sit on the firebox so blue is a no go. I personally put the X Accessory thing on the bottom tier of the divide and conquer rack and sit them on that. It doesn’t smother the charcoal as much and I’ve not really found there to be much if any difference results wise.
If you’re double indirecting then you’ll need to sit your deflector on the black line and your pizza stone on the accessory rack. Makes no difference in my experience other than the heat from below is tamed a bit so it’s easier not to overcook the bottom of your meat, but it uses a shit ton more fuel. Apparently the smoke taste is better because it makes the Kamado less efficient, but I don’t think so. Up to you, have a play and see what you think, that’s half the fun.

Put the X accessory on the lowest setting and they go on that, grills on the highest setting 👍🏼

I put them on the lower section, on the basket in your case, for temps under 300 degrees. Anything over that I put them on the accessory rack in the lower position of the divide and conquer
