Borrowed my Grandma’s pie dish and had an urge all weekend to try and make a pie.
Tonight attempted a steak & ale pie, slow cooked the filling for 10 hours today and had a go tonight with shortcrust pastry.
Made accordion potatoes for the first time ever as well to go with it.
Spent so long on it though that I’m not hungry enough to finish it now, so it’ll go to tomorrow’s tea.
