I used the Satin add water mix to flood consistency and dipped cookies 12 hours ago. They’ve been drying at room temp but are still soft/able to indent if I press on them. I need to stencil them by scraping and am worried about breaking the icing. I’m putting them in the dehydrator now. Any ideas on how to get these to harden? I’m not worried about the air bubbles- I’m just a mom trying to DIY my daughter’s birthday.

Do you live in a humid area? 12 hours isn’t always a lot of time for RI to dry. I have not used the mix you mentioned though so I’m not sure if it can be blamed on that
Try 95° dehydrator for no more than 30 min is what I would try. Make sure the cookies cool for a little bit after dehydrating so the frosting won’t move around when you pick them up.
Sometimes it takes longer for them to dry, but they will eventually dry (water will evaporate from them). I usually have a small fan to help with air circulation too when I do my cookies. Good luck and give us an update on how that goes!
I always wait 24 hours. Give it some more time!
Is it possible you got some butter or other grease in there? The times mine hasn’t dried that was the suspected culprit.
