Big fan of Pasta Forever so could not wait to try out their new sit down Italian restaurant Zia’s Place. It’s just down the street on Dundas west of Dufferin. Started with tuna crudo ($24) that had a nicely tart dressing and topped with capers and crushed pistachio. Then for the main attraction of pasta I had the fusilli al ferretto ($32) with a ragu of pork and nduja. Very delicious. The hand rolled pasta was cooked perfectly. Just wish the nduja was a bit spicier. Very glad to be able to enjoy a full menu of food from the Pasta Forever team now.

Been passing by this place a lot, and was wondering how it was. Thanks for the review.
Lmao
Is that a bowl of olive oil. Yikes. 😬

Went the other night. Food was really great, warm service, excellent wine list and beautiful room. Pricing below market
so much oil on that plate the US wants to invade you focking donkey
When here the second week it opened and I had a great meal. Always excited for a new neighbourhood spot.
Their food is great but on the smaller side for portions. We needed 3 courses to be satisfied. It’s definitely a cozy place to drink slowly and linger.
