What do you think about using the end pieces of bread?
This is my first time doing it and it came out good, slices weren’t too much thinner so no complaints here

Brave but I hate waste so I love it.

I use em. Never understood why people don’t like the ends, I’ll always eat em

No need to waste em! Next time flip the ends inside out, it’ll brown as normal and you can’t really tell the difference when the crusty bit is inside the sandwich and covered in cheese

Waste not, want not.

Nothing should go to waste imo

I think it’s fine.

It’s bread.

Use it but put the white side out so it looks like a regular piece and browns well.

My mom used to use these but flip them inside out so we wouldn’t notice and then you bite into the sandwich and it’s just all crust. Toasted for a grilled cheese they’re probably fine but I don’t think I’ll ever move past the trauma.

Awesome, I do it all the time.

I’m afraid it’s a hard NO for me. The heels are nasty enough when soft and fresh, but once fried they get crusty and even nastier. IMHO.

I use them for peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Honey does not go through the heel.
