Taron has locations in Glendale, Little Armenia and North Hollywood

Specializing in Lebanese, Syrian, and Armenian breads perfect for breakfast, lunch, or as a snack.

First two pictures is their maneish, also known as za’atar ov hatz (za’atar bread in Armenian) or manakaish in Arabic. It comes “plain” but the perfect way to eat it for breakfast is adding cheese, olives, mint leaves, and tomatoes, toasting or grilling it, folding and eating!

Then we have the lahmajun (Armenian) also known as lahm b’ajeen (Arabic). A thin dough topped with a thin layer of beef with herbs and spices. You can eat this in many ways, always making sure to toast it – plain, with lemon juice, or wrapped with eggplant (this is the Syrian way from Aleppo)

Taron has been one of the few go-to spots for us since I was a kid and they still put out excellent foods.
