Hi all! I prepared these salad jars on Saturday and have really been enjoying them this week, so I felt like they deserved their own post in case anyone needed some ideas!

I went with a Berry Salad this week:

  • Bottom: 1 cup berries (strawberries + blueberries)

  • Middle: Romaine lettuce

  • Top: Raspberry walnut vinaigrette

  • Tippy Top: Feta cheese

This has been such a fun way to get some greens & berries in! Next week i’ll probably do an Italian salad or caesar salad. Let me know if anyone has ideas on what else these can be used for!

Very cool. I want to be onboard with the jar salads, just need to actually execute it.

What size are your jars? Do they keep well?

It’s a portable version of a vacuum sealer. Why? Because “**vacuum-sealed lettuce will stay fresh in a Mason jar for 7 to 10 DAYS with no brown edges!”**
