What’s your favorite pozole? Rojo or Verde

    Rojo for me. The key to any pozole is the radish garnish, no matter if rojo or verde.

    Verde–I love roasted green chilies and tomatillos. I made it last weekend, a thicker version than what’s in the second photo. Of course I would never turn down Rojo (which is more common where I live). Might try making that next time.

  6. I reject none, that said rojo if a choice, and the soup of the gods needs to be made with pork.

    I’m almost always on team verde, I adore tomatillos, jalapeños, cilantro, avocado, lime etc. But for some reason pozole rojo just hits better for me.

    Verde! But I don’t eat pork so I can’t really compare.

    White guy here… I lived in zihuatanejo for a year when I was eighteen and have to say I’ll eat any but verde is my preference. What really makes the difference for me are the sides: little taquitos filled with cheese(quesitos?) fresh chicharrones, of course all the usual fixins like cilantro onion Serrano
