Couple of things: 1. I wish there was a tool that would hold the spit in a stable vertical postion for loading up, one that I could chuck in the dishwater. 2. When I carved off the most excellent first slice, the remaining thighs dried out faster than they could crisp and char. 3. The second carve was much drier than the first but tastier. 4. The remaining mass was chalky and dry by the time it had reached temperature.
