Hey y’all, let me show you how to make these simple meatball subs. Grab a package of frozen meatballs. Dump them into a skillet and add a jar of your favorite marinara sauce. Cover it with a lid. And we’re just going to let those simmer and cook. You’re going to grab a 12-pack of King’s Hawaiian rolls. And you’re going to use a knife and separate them into three roll sections. Cut a rectangle shape into the top of the rolls and scoop out the middle. And of course, we waste nothing around here, so I tossed those scraps to my chickens and they loved them. Now, back to cooking. Place your rolls on a baking sheet. I sprayed mine with a little oil and then melt half a stick of butter. Seasoned that with a little Italian seasoning, some minced garlic. Mix that together and based the outsides, insides, and all around of your rolls with that butter. Sprinkled it with a little parmesan and ramano and in the oven for 5 minutes. And now your meatballs should be ready to stuff into your sandwiches. When your bread is done, add a little marinara sauce into the bottom along with a little layer of mozzarella cheese because we like it cheesy. Stuff them full of your meatballs. And then of course, we got to top them with another thick layer of mozzarella cheese. Back in the oven for about 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted. Now it’s time to dig into these savory and easy to make meatball subs.
