I had a couple cocktails after work today.
Came home hungry and was craving some smoked oysters on crackers.
All I had was Keebler cheddar sandwich crackers.
I got these oysters from ocean state job lot for 1.99 per tin.
They were perhaps the best tin of smoked oysters I’ve had honestly.
Maybe it was just the perfect snack at the time but….
Holy shit was it tasty with a bit of hot sauce!

I had no idea, but my local ocean state job lot has the best, most extensive selection of sardines and other tinned seafood I’ve ever seen and it is crazy cheap.
Smoked oysters +crackers + hot sauce is an all time favorite of mine. Especially after some drinks lol.

Cottonseed oil is bad for you. Other than that looks delicious! Have you tried them with balsamic vinegar? A divine combination.

From what I hear, nowadays, sardines are caught mainly in the Pacific Ocean off the coasts of Japan, California, and Oregon

Latest smoked oyster combo here is with leftover chimichurri dolloped into the can, no crackers or anything. The amount of iron a can of oysters provides lets me claim they are for medicinal purposes!
Crown Prince smoked oysters in olive oil from Costco are really good.
Smoked oysters are delicious. When I’m not eating them right out of the tin I’m mixing them into my potato salad.
I prefer them on Triscuits.
One of my favorite snacks is smoked oysters on Cheez-Its with hot sauce. So…this looks bomb as hell.

I have a can of smoked oysters too. One day I’ll take leap and eat them on some crackers
Add a good lager beer, and I do this all the time (my favorite Saturday lunch after mowing the lawn). Try subbing out the club cracker for a Triscuit (i prefer the sea salt and black pepper variety, but the original is great, too). I think you’ll really enjoy it.

I’m a big oyster guy, smoked oysters are fucking ass. Only tried the one from polar, but I’ll give it another go.
No judgement here, just a touch of envy! Gotta put those sandwich crackers on my grocery list!
