Caught myself as I was making this, so I think Ive largely fixed the situation, however my mouth still tastes like off port and vinegar and I thought someone might get a giggle out of this situation.
I dont make black forest/cherry cake very often. Its my father's favourite cake so occasionally when the stars align I make it for his birthday/fathers day, however its been a while.
Accudentally I grabbed a jar of cherries instead of a jar of olives as I was finishing off this pizza (which already had some olives on it).
I caught myself as I was putting the jar away… but then had to taste test a lot of putrid cherries to confirm which were olives and which were not.
I definitely need to still eat this Australia shaped pizza as Ive had a bit too drink and need to sober up by way of carbs, however I am so scared.

Pizza actually turned out pretty great. So far I haven’t discovered any sour, past-their-pickling-date cherries. Gross none the less.
this shape and base make are more a crime than the cherries…
I am sad to see so many judges on here who body shame pizza instead of looking for actual criminality
